We've all seen those magnificent, breathtaking photos of Alaksa ... the mountains, the wide open spaces, spouting whales in the ocean. They're all beautiful, that's for sure. (And I have a lot of them on my Flickr site for you to see.) But I've also come to love the quiet intimacy of Alaska.
The bears knocking at my front door.
A baby moose wandering through my backyard.
The brilliant colors of flowers flourishing on the tundra.
For me, the grandeur of Alaska is made up of the majestic and the small miracles of life.
