Exploring Alaska on foot is definitely the way to go. But for a new perspective, I love taking to the air in my friend's plane and just floating over all the natural beauty below. It's an amazing experience. And then when I'm back on the ground hiking through my favorite places, my sense of place is just much more powerful.
